I was playing through my OG Yellow again a few years ago and the battery died on me in Rockets base Never had a chance to say goodbye

I'm not even sure HOW it's still in such good shape: I wasn't doing anything special to keep it that way and have moved a bunch of times since I got it so it really shouldn't be playable but it is (praise Arceus).XD

mine was bulbasaur on the original pokemon blue on my brother's gameboy sp

i believe it was also the very first video game i ever played. i had no idea how to save so i'd stop playing after the first or second gym and restarted every time i played
