why dosent fa let you browse users?

I don't know the answer to the user question, but as for search the site doesn't have one... although the admins do have one in the beta process. The original search was disabled because it was a severe resource hog due to its inefficiency .

I Actually find The FA ranking system to be quite useful in that department. That is, if you already know the artist's name, because then you could just type it in and when the rank processes it, you simply click on the name and it brings you to their FA page. ^_^ It's what I use it for sometimes anyway
