Why even bother posting Polls here?

If you are going to post a poll, you could at least let everyone on FA know about it. Post it on the front page of the site. There are a lot of people who never visit the Forums and then there are those who rarely visit (like me). The reason I'm posting this is I notice a poll taken not long ago that I would have liked to post my input, but it was closed and locked before I knew about it. The only people that come here are those who look to rat out other users and those who try to be open minded to the ideals. and yet, thost who like to post (said art in question) may not even know about it to stand up for their works.

Please get the word out on the site if you are looking for input on the subject. That way everyone gets a chance to post what they think.

agreed. I registered for the forums specifically to vote against the cub porn issue, and i've found the topic locked and the poll already closed. so, fuck that. in fact, it says i have *voted* in it already, which i have not, as i just registered 10 minutes ago.

Posting the poll on the front page would've been a neato idea.
Oh well, guess we'll just have to keep it in mind next time something this big happens. How about a poll banning all mature art? :p

Frankly, I'm not sure the forums could have handled up to 2,000 people on the forums at the same time. The topic grew like wild fire and it was hard to avoid the issue.

I also didn't post the topic as an admin alert because, in all honestly, the last thing we needed was even more drama in a banner that some people would take read "OMFG THERE'S A CRISIS!"

You know, there're a fair few of us who're staying just to watch the admin tear FA apart.

Even thou you're banned, i still like to thank you for being optimistic and supportive during the trouble times of the gallery /you/ previuosly liked to visit. Well, take your time, pull up a chair and stock up on nachos - i hope the show will be worth it.
In contradiction with the popular belief, things aren't as bad as people think they are.. So, i might warn you that you may stay like that forever. Just don't use it as an excuse for actually staying.
