Okay I can’t be the only that has had some words and things ruined by the fandom right?

Me being someone to avoid things like that, I still don't know what watersports are and I don't want to.

But the fandom has ruined "owo" for me. Definitely. I never used it much, but I used "ouo" a few years back and now I can't because furries have given it a sexual connotation.

We definitely ruined the word musky.

Normal person- "Oh God why do you smell like a locker room full of zombies?"

Furry- "Oh thas jus my fwuffy smells. Ima musky husky awoo woo pet me pwease!"

But...but...but...what about us skunks? :p We'll show any 'musky husky' who the boss is!

Any words having to do with snuggles, cuddles, nuzzles, glomps, gloms and hugs. These things (and words) used to be cute and endearing to me.

...NOT anymore.

Granted, such words lost their meanings for me long long ago, it was still the furry fandom that killed them off. Any such cutesy vernacular went from adorable girl speak straight to sweaty neckbeard pervert language.

Let me be for real and serious here:

The fandom has ruined many things, and not just these jokes or memes about word play that has sexual nature to all the common r34 nard shots with soccer balls. Really the fandom at first ruins people for making them delusional, living in their own world of animal people and heavily interfering with social and logical skills.

The nature of the fandom went from being sexually accepting to "wheres the porn" to a point where porn is the only common ground for fame, fortune and the only excuse to make friends. The biggest names on here draw porn, and nothing but porn and extremists. This sadly has become the life blood if not main network of air and nitrogen, where if you dont draw it your basically a ghost to people in the fandom. Its like the only nationality in the game....porn.

The furry fandom has ruined itself, bet you didnt see that one coming. From the delusions of grandeur online social media has turned artists into their own swjs or elite navy seal pasta. The worst of the worst speaks for the fandom, FA is a joke, artwork is now a myth with Your cancers here, paywalls, bad work ethic and disgusting kinks now roam around the site like its good ol raccoon city after on hell of a virus came into town. The admins are legit cancer, praising you for being part of community but saying the things your reporting that break the rules cant be handled because they either dont want to get rid of someone popular.

And lets now forget a few cons, MFF, all those drug user overdoses, behaviors that just says a big "fuck you to the EMTs and fire personal responding to the dumbcuck fursuiters snorting drugs, pulling fire alarms. Really because the fandom has no real hierarchy, no professionalism other then"fun" its become a Leper colony of sorts online and offline.

These days you mention furry to someone they cringe, say "ewwww". The fandom has ruined sites like FA, exiled people because apparently antifa and peoples feelings are all you need to ban someone, or harass them. In all if the furry fandom was a fetus, I'd abort that shit like how Chris brown slapped the shit out of rihanna.

Seen nothing but hostilities and mentally ill sexuality on here become militant and focus on political propaganda and deciding what art is by uploading things that dont make sense. Females being tagged as males, feces or other gross kinks being forced onto interesting species.

What ever happened to the magic of looking up cool artwork of your favorite animals? Of thats right, 21st furry fandom happened. No one follows the rules not even the president! This website has truly fallen to the apes.

I've mentioned this before on a different thread, but the admins didn't even care when I reported something sexual in nature that was marked as general. I'm not talking a minorly seductive pose. An anthro wolf was literally removing her underwear but they insisted the image was general.

FA should have a mature content filter more like that of DA. DA asks you to filter things with sexual themes, and that image would definitely marked as such had it been on that website. "General" doesn't mean it's not explicit, "general" means it is for all audiences. In other words, something general is something you'd be comfortable with a child seeing. Is something like that something a child should see? No, it isn't.

Granted, the site is targetted towards people 18+ and you must be 13 to register, but you don't even need an account to see the image. An eight year old could accidentally stumble upon the site and they'd see that image.

A lot of people just say to just kick off everyone under 18, but that's unneccessary. What should be done is that they need to recognize their filter system is flawed and work on it. And, like I said, the site could still be accessed by users under 18, they just wouldn't have to register.

i just want to go on record, seeing as how i may have given the wrong impression...

i genuinely LOVE the furry community; aforementioned "cringe" included!
i don't point and laugh with disdain, malice and/or prejudice. it's more of a self-aware chuckle, really. As a manchild, myself, with a toddler's vocabulary and a taste for everything cutesy, adorable, kawaii and downright "girly", i see nothing wrong with the comic above. it may as well be a mirror...

I totally get it xD I feel the same as well. I both cringe at, but love all the aspects of this fandom.

There's nothing wrong with the filter system itself, it's the lack of enforcement that's the problem.
