...What would change after about a month, when you are freed from the cellar? Best friends? Greatest enemies? Perhaps only one gets out at all?

Let's also say the cellar has just enough of everything that one might need to survive for a month:

• Okay-ish food
• A bathroom
• Something semi-comfortable to sleep on
• A source of light that shines moderately bright

Not entirely sure. I am not fond of conflicts, and a month is a long time to find things we have in common.

At the very least it would be preferable to come out neutral towards one another after a month.

I think I would annoy you by trying to get out almost constantly. Not that being trapped somewhere with you wouldn’t be delightful! I just by nature don’t like having my movement restricted lol.

We would be the same.... but the cellar would be much bigger. I would dig it out with a spoon to give us more space...

I could have just dug out.... but that is less convenient for the plot.

It always depends on what kind of character the cell mate is. It's unpredictable, to be honest.

But regarding it goes like my real life, it's most likely that they get close. And....I won't get into details.

Guess I watched too many doujins and my novel-like life occurrences fueled the idea too. Intriguing!

P.s. I actually experienced the similar... Instead, it was a ward, not a cell. :3
