I really love finding old or unknown YouTube videos, things with less than 1000 views; if they're from before 2010 that's even better. It's like dumpster diving on the internet.
I have a whole playlist of things with less than 1000 views that I've found. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzaOZuQ8UgYhw10Mt8w28YDO-DWfsR4FH (some of the videos here are probably popular now or have more than 1K views from the time they were added, but I can't bring myself to remove them)
The feeling of coming across an interesting and obscure video posted in the early days of youtube will never get old.

Speaking about myself, I want to start with creativity. It takes me 90% or something, I won't live if I can't devote myself to art all the time. I do not know why it is so important for me to study new types of arts, perhaps it is anhedonia - I get very few endorphins, whatever I do, but learning a new one gives me a little more. I'm always on the lookout because of this hunger.
Traditional art with different materials and their combinations, sculpture, embroidery of different types and its combinations, wool felting and its combinations, plasticine painting, damn it. I'm still not enough, I'm an insatiable monster.

Another thing that interests me is True Crime. It's always been that way, but for a while in my teens I got away from it. I think I'm back to that in 2021. I watched a bunch of videos about crimes, and if after the first 20 videos life turned into a nightmare, then after 25 you just get used to the endless cruelty of this world. I watch these stories almost every day, sometimes for several hours. I also listen to them while I'm doing arts work.

One of my special interests is gemstones, and semi-precious ones too. I particularly love them in natural raw forms.
My favorite without a doubt is red garnets. I am in love with their deep dark red colorations.

To "round off" my previous post, I'm also a huge tech & science nerd in general (though knowing about lamps certainly didn't hurt when a contraption in my bathroom stopped working). I'm a tinkerer who can fix at least some electronics. I love finding out about obscure plants and animals. If I lived in America, I'd have been one of those guys with a locker full of various firearms. I know a thing or two about military matters. And then there's the "elephant in the room", that is, my 3D art with (nearly) physically accurate fur, something that very few people have patience and experience to pull off properly.

I'm very interested in coming up with various wacky scenarios in my head, most of them being quite strange, so I don't happen to tell anyone what these idea's are. I swear one of these ideas was me and Santa Claus standing atop a hill of dead zombies while shooting the zombies climbing up. How and why did my brain think of that?

I'm also really interested in discovering the lore of a game or tv show, though I don't think it's a good idea to talk about it with the people who have no idea what I'm talking about. Imagine trying to explain the Five Night's at Freddy's lore to someone who's never even played or heard of it before. Yeah, I'm not about to do that.

I do find interest in music and how the singer's voices sound and the waves of music, or how the lyrics sound. Don't think this one is as strange, but I do play attention to what I'm listening to very closely.

Animation is something I adore and get frustrated whenever an animated project gets cancelled by a large corporation, meaning all the animaters hard work is just tossed out the window like anyone could do it. I've tried animating myself and good lord, I have no idea how they do it.

I'm also very, very into the Pokémon series for some reason. I'm not really sure why, but I can remember every single Pokémon's name, type, what moves they should use, what abilities they have, and all that. No, I don't do competitive, I'm in it for the fun. But I do think I'd be quite the trainer if Pokémon were real though. And of course, I love the mini games where you get to play with your Pokémon! Even feeding them is enough to keep me entertained! I already have Violet pre-ordered, and can't wait to see what they have in store for this Pokémon Master!

There's so much more, but this is getting to be a bit long. Might post here again

I collect old gas station road maps that were handed out for free last century. My collection spans from the 1920's to the 1980's, when the practice died out.

I also collect old theatrical cartoons, especially Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies. I have over 700 of them on VHS, DVD and Blu-ray from the 1930's to 1980's, including all of the infamous "Censored Eleven".

I also collect history books, especially naval history, automotive history, and disaster history.

Finally, I have recently been collecting books I fondly remember from my childhood. Rereading them as an adult is very interesting as I understand things that I missed as a child.
Do you collect the infamous Thomas Brothers maps of and area, say Just the S.F. Bay Peninsula? I used them extensively when I workd as an outdoor sign and lighting specialist.

I remember the Thomas maps but I do not collect them. I mostly collect maps of South Carolina.

I like to collect 1/400 model aircraft and I enjoy planespotting at airports. Another special interest of mine are guns. I learned to recognize different types of guns and their attachments from a video game XD

If there’s one thing to know about me, it’s that I’m completely enamored with biology, lol

1. Herpetology (the study of reptiles and amphibians, but specifically snakes and lizards

2. Pathophysiology. Hell, I even write scientific articles on fictional diseases, mutations, and other conditions as if they were real-world occurrences being medically studied and love collecting oddities

3. Lexicology. Probably my most long-term fascination, but something about the structure of words and their derivatives (including slang, memes, and even names) is super interesting to me

I'm just an amateur, but I like dabbling in sound mastering. Mostly to level out how loud some stuff is, and sometimes making my own cuts of albums and tracks. Also like keeping my music library organized and up to date in tags, and making my own album covers from related source material (definitely needed for more obscure music or game soundtracks)

I'm also a game controller nerd and have very strong opinions when it comes to controller layouts and ergonomics... And I've bought a few strange controllers even when I don't own the console.

I'd also say I'm a coffee snob, but I don't use anything special beyond a moka pot and coffee bean grinder. And I have my bean preferences of course, but I'm not super picky

Finding *these* in stock somewhere in the city at one of our local stores.

The local Safeway doesn't have them right now..... and so, I've got to look elsewhere if I want them. I *think* Target or Grocery Outlet may have them though, and so - I might be in luck.

I have a story you might be interested in.

My older brother told me the first time he watched Song of the South was on a bootleg VHS tape with Chinese subtitles. He later found a official European VHS release of Song of the South at his bases thrift store. It was still in mint condition too.

I didn't know Song of the South ever saw the light of day on any kind of home release! Disney is so embarrassed by that movie that they've hidden it away in a vault somewhere and will never re-release it to theaters or release it on home video of any sort (though apparently they did in Europe, once).

Only reason I know about it is I actually saw it in a theater. My mother was blissfully unaware of its racism and took me to see it when I was a little kid, so I'm one of the few who can make that claim. Thankfully, I don't remember much about it.
